Fabrice Nzinzi, also known by his pseudonym Ntamak, has been active in the graphic design industry for over 20 years.
He holds a BTS in Visual Communication and a DMA in Traditional Animation Drawing from ESAAT (Roubaix). He began his career at Studio Poulain (Lille) as a print and web graphic designer, before gradually moving into freelance work in animation, animated series visual development, video games, and illustration.
As a freelancer, Fabrice has collaborated with several major players in the video game sector, including Ubisoft Owlient, Bigben Interactive, Black Sheep Studio, Shueisha Games, Tokkun Studio, and I Got Game. In the animation industry, he has worked with France 3 Paris, Les Armateurs, Andarta, La Chouette Compagnie, Samka Production, TeamTO, and IP4U, offering his recognized expertise.
Alongside his freelance activities, Fabrice was employed at Ankama for nearly 14 years. Within this major company in the Hauts-de-France region, he contributed to the development of the MMORPGs Wakfu and Dofus, before taking on key roles as art director, lead animator, lead background artist, and character/props/background designer across both the game and animation divisions.
Specializing in visual development, he notably served as art director for the animated series Maxi Mini, Mini Wakfu, Dofus: Kerub’s Treasures, Wakfu Season 3, and Abraca. Co-author of the visual bible for the film Dofus, he also directed the animated series Abraca and Wakfu Season 3. Before leaving Ankama, he worked as art director on the game Waven, scheduled for release in 2023.
Just prior to joining Special Touch Studios, Fabrice held the position of lead art director at Celsius Online (Paris) and Vertical (Tourcoing).
In this role, he also collaborated with other renowned studios such as Atlas V, Shiro Games, The Sandbox, and Zeptolab.
Driven by a strong passion for knowledge sharing and personal development, Fabrice has been a regular lecturer at ECV Lille since 2018.
